Server logs and email storage are kept on Sybell's infrastructure located in the European Union.
What is collected
- Contact form: when you write to me using the contact form, your name, email address and message are sent to my mailbox so I can reply.
- Server logs: the hosting server keeps short technical logs (IP address, browser type, the page requested, time). These help keep the site secure and stable.
Why it is collected and legal basis
- To answer your messages and discuss possible engagements — legal basis: legitimate interest / your consent when you submit the form.
- To protect the site from abuse and keep it running — legal basis: legitimate interest.
Third parties used by this site
- Google Fonts (Google LLC) — fonts are loaded from Google's servers, which may see your IP address.
- YouTube (Google LLC) — when a video is played, YouTube may set its own cookies. The site uses the privacy-enhanced YouTube domain (
youtube-nocookie.com).
Analytics & cookies
When you accept analytics on the cookie banner, the following services run and may store cookies or similar identifiers in your browser:
- Google Analytics 4 (Google LLC, USA) — measures aggregated visits, traffic sources and pages viewed.
- Google Tag Manager (Google LLC, USA) — orchestrates the analytics tags.
- Microsoft Clarity (Microsoft Corporation, USA) — heatmaps and anonymised session recordings to understand how people use the site.
If you do not accept analytics, none of the above is loaded. Google Consent Mode v2 keeps
analytics_storage, ad_storage, ad_user_data and
ad_personalization set to denied by default. The choice is stored
in your browser for 365 days; you can change it any time using the
Cookie settings link at the bottom of every page.
Cloudflare Web Analytics (cookieless aggregated traffic stats) may also be active. It does not set cookies and does not require consent.
How long data is kept
Emails are kept for as long as they are relevant to our conversation. Server logs are rotated by the hosting provider, typically within 30 days.
Your rights under EU/UK GDPR
You may, at any time, ask what data is held about you, ask for it to be corrected, ask for it to be erased, or object to processing. To exercise these rights, write to info@alinkamusic.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority (in the UK: ICO; in Hungary: NAIH).
Changes
If this policy is updated, the "last updated" date above will change. Significant changes will be highlighted on the home page where reasonable.
